Over half the residences in the 14-storey Ryrie Home tower, the first stage of Franz&eacute; Developments&rsquo; Geelong Quarter project, have been sold.

Presales in this stage were &ldquo;north of&rdquo; $30 million and apartments in that building sold on average for $9,000 per square metre, MaxCap&rsquo;s state director for Victoria, Johnny Woodhouse, told the AFR last month.

Non-bank lender MaxCap Group is providing the development with a $97 million first-mortgage facility for the construction of the two-tower residential and hotel complex.
