Congratulations are in order for the OSK Property, Cox Architecture, Carr, T.L.C and Sinclair Brook teams for an impressive double win at the 2019/20 Asia Pacific Property Awards. Urban.com.au reported on OSK Property’s nominations for their latest six-tower development Melbourne Square back in March this year, when the project was still in early stages of construction. The team were awarded best ‘Mixed-use Development’ and ‘Residential High-Rise Architecture’ at the ceremony held in Bangkok recently.

The $2.8 billion project was put under the scrutiny of 80 industry professionals, including members of the UK’s House of Lords – Lord Caithness, Lord Best, The Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso.

Previous winners of the prestigious awards include London’s iconic Kings Cross Gasworks, the Royal Academy of Music and Heathrow Airport.

“This award places Melbourne Square among some of the world’s most significant projects that have redefined the bounds of architecture and reinvigorated city precincts. It is a rarity to be recognised for two awards - we are most proud of this achievement and hope that our future occupants share our excitement at these wins.”

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat, Chairman of OSK Property

Melbourne Square was selected due to the clever design approach to creating a truly integrated precinct, featuring public spaces available for community use, childcare facilities, hotel, residential, office and retail spaces.

Melbourne Square will not only deliver a beautiful addition to Melbourne’s skyline but provide transformative public space that residents and the surrounding community will be able to enjoy as part of the enhanced arts precinct.”
