<p>Margaret Kelly, who was the screenwriter of early 1980s coming-of-age film Puberty Blues, is selling her Ocean Shores home in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.</p>
<p>Kelly, a television script-writer for four decades, has lived there for the past eight years, having previously resided at Mona Vale, Bilgola and later at Fisherman's Bay in Port Stephens. </p>
<p>The home on 1372 sqm backs onto the ninth green of the Ocean Shores Country Club.</p>
<p>There's plenty of buggy space in the garage of the home being marketed as a "golfers paradise" by Peter Browning at LJ Hooker Brunswick Heads.</p>
<p>The home has four bedroom, including a fully self-contained one bedroom flat in the basement.</p>
<p>Kelly shared the 1978 Logie Award for best dramatic script with John Dingwall for the 1977 hit Pig in a Poke in which a wealthy Melbourne doctor moves to Redfern amid the disenfranchised and impoverished state of Australia's indigenous population.</p>
<p>She wrote scripts for McLeod's Daughters, Homicide, A Country Practice, The Cowra Breakout, G.P, Heartbreak High and SeaChange. </p>
<p>Kelly's adaptation of Puberty Blues, had been optioned from the then as-yet unpublished stories of Kathy Lette and Gabrielle Carey, whom she had met at a writing workshop in a suburban theatre.</p>
