The apartment has sat idly on the market for three years, changing agency's a number of times before its recent likely sale.
White Fox Real Estate agents Marty Fox and Ryan Fisher were the agents to secure the offer, after <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/71648-new-agents-marketing-lleyton-hewitt-s-melbourne-penthouse" target="_blank">drastically changing the decor</a> when they took over the listing in June.

When first listed in 2012, the apartment was listed with $15 million hopes. Despite no public price listing, these hopes were reduced to around $10 million.
After quietly securing a <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/69073-lleyton-hewitt-spends-12-7-million-in-toorak" target="_blank">$12.7 million Toorak mansion</a> earlier this year, the Hewitt's were ready to sell as soon.
An agent e-mail suggested there had been "a price reduction from the vendors and the motivation to sell is still very substantial." it read.
Overlooking Albert Park lake, Hewitt purchased two apartments and merged them into a mega six bedroom penthouse.
The apartment on levels 19 and 20 of the iconic building spans 710 sqm internally and 443 sqm of outdoor space.

Controlled by a world-leading AMX Smart System that includes remote-controlled sheer and blackout blinds, plasma screen in each room, zoned music and an exntesive video library.
The penthouse had become problematic in recent times, with consistent reduction in price guidance.

Lleyton Hewitt's Yve penthouse under offer

The tennis legend Lleyton Hewitt and wife Bec now have new estate agents marketing their redundant luxury St Kilda Road, Melbourne penthouse offering.
It is the third change of estate agents during its <a href="https://www.realestate.com.au/property-apartment-vic-melbourne-125699578" target="_blank">on-off-on six year listing</a>.
There's been no recent asking price amendment which remains at $10 million plus.
Their redundant Yve apartment does comes with a freshened look since the former Sydney based couple have moved out to their recently acquired <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/news/69073-lleyton-hewitt-spends-12-7-million-in-toorak" target="_blank">Toorak manor house</a>.
Gone is the dominant red furniture replaced by decor with more welcoming cream and light colours. 
The pool table has stayed with the listing through WhiteFox agent Ryan Fisher.
The initial agents listed the apartment in 2011 asking $15 million for the two level apartment with 740 sqm internal space, 440 sqm balcony space and an eight car garage.
The price was dropped by $5 million in 2014.
For many years when the family was based in the Bahamas, the vast pad was rarely used.
Hewitt bought the apartments on level 19 and 20 for a $8.325 million total in 2004 shortly before their a whirlwind romance in 2005 when was a Wimbledon champion and she was a star of the enduring soapie, Home and Away.
The Hewitts quit their Sydney property portfolio, selling their luxury Kenthurst acreage for $5 million late last year in a quick sale.
The Hewitt's since moved into a new Georgian mansion, without any tennis court, in the bluechip Toorak paying $12.7 million through Sotheby's agent Phillip French.
The Yve penthouse is not Hewitt's first extended property marketing offering.
His hometown Adelaide property took six years to sell at West Lakes.

New agents marketing Lleyton Hewitt's Melbourne penthouse

The tennis icon Lleyton Hewitt and wife Bec have been spotted coming and going from a newly built Georgian style Toorak residence.
But it's not yet apparent if they are renting or have bought the recently sold prestige property.
It comes after the Hewitt's formal departure from Sydney with the recent sale of their redundant home in Kenthurst.
Settlement shows they sold the seven bedroom Kenthurst retreat for $5 million after being on the market for around two weeks last spring through Guardian Realty agent Gavin Wakely.
The luxury Kenthurst family home came with a golf green with bunker and practice net, outdoor entertaining area with built in barbecue, pool plus two tennis courts.
The couple had paid $3 million in 2006, just before he won the Queen's Club Championship in Wimbledon.
There's no tennis court on the Hewitt's new Toorak abode.
Set on one of Toorak's finest boulevards, the new Georgian style residence was recently built by Peter Johnston's Royale Constructions.
It had been a 1960s architect designed home before it was bulldozed by Johnston who paid $3.81 million in late 2015.
Their Melbourne base, a $10 million penthouse atop the Yve building on St Kilda Road remains for sale on the Sotheby's International website.
The apartment offers 710 sqm internal space and 443 sqm outdoor living space over levels 19 and 20.
The couple are now spending most of their time in Melbourne, although he has a new endeavour, leading the elite Albany Tennis Academy at Windsor High School in The Bahamas where they retain a home.
"This new chapter of my career at the Albany Sports Academy allows me the opportunity to train, lead and grow rising stars from around the world in the game I love," Hewitt said on its launch earlier this month. Albany is a luxury resort community jointly owned by Tavistock Group, Tiger Woods and Ernie Els.
Bec and Lleyton were both big celebrities in their own right before they combined their star power, after a whirlwind romance in 2005.

Bec and Lleyton Hewitt have listed their little-used Kenthurst acreage for sale. 
They seem set to spend much more of their time these days in Melbourne.
The 100 square home with will no doubt sell for close to $5 million through Guardian Realty agent Gavin Weekley.
When the Kenthurst home sold in 2006 for $3 million it bettered the record for a two-hectare property by $350,000.
But the Hewitts offering remains a single-level, six-bedroom home with resort-style pool that has been overtaken by grander homes that have fetched as much as $6 million. There was a $3.9 million sale next door earlier this year.
The marketing say it has a free-flowing layout spanning more than 100 squares.
"Splashes of vibrant colour are blended with custom timber finishes and hardwood floors, set against a verdant backdrop of manicured gardens and lush lawn," it advises.
The former world number one recently relisted his Melbourne penthouse at $10 million with offers due this week.
Hewitt, who has been based in the Bahamas with his family, had rarely used the St Kilda Road pad until this year.
It is on the 19th floor of Yve tower.
It has been<a href="https://www.domain.com.au/property/for-sale/apartment-unit-flat/vic/melbourne/?adid=2011370007&amp;sp=1" target="_blank"> listed by Sotheby’s International Realty</a>, fully furnished.
Hewitt bought the apartments on level 19 and 20 for $8.325 million in 2004 at 578 St Kilda Road.
He then took around four years creating the 710 square metre internal space with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. There is also 443 square metres external space, Sotheby agent Phillip French said,
Bec and Lleyton Hewitt offloaded their three-storey Palm Beach retreat at $4.63 million in 2014.
The Palm Beach Road house cost $4.4 million in 2005.
Th property purchase was just two weeks before tying the knot. 
Bec and Lleyton were both big celebrities in their own right before they combined their star power, kicking off a whirlwind romance in 2005.
He was the then Wimbledon champion and she was a star of the enduring soapie, Home and Away.
The couple, now parents to three kids, Mia, Cruz and Ava, bought a home in Nassau in 2009 for $3.8 million.
Hewitt sold his former Adelaide home for $2,185,600 after six years on the market, for much less than the $3.2 million he paid for it in 2003.
In 2005 Hewitt was the youngest on the BRW Young Rich list with a net worth of $30 million.
The latest listing caps off a busy time for Bec too as her parents' $2.5 million Oakfield property - where Bec grew up - was sold earlier this year after three decades ownership.
