The long-held Belrose estate of former Coca-Cola Amatil chief executive Dean Wills has been sold to the daughter of a South African rich-lister.
The grand three-level trophy home fetched $8 million when bought by Luciana Ravazzotti and her husband Pierre ­Langenhoven.
Her father, Giovanni Ravazzotti, the founder of tiler and bathware retailer Italtile, is ranked as one of South ­Africa’s richest. The family has expansive investments in Australian cattle farms. The couple have listed their home in Seaforth.
The six-bedroom mansion, complete with a pool, tennis court, and 12-car showroom-style garage as befitted Wills’ eclectic car collection, was ­offered through Sydney Country Living agent Brian McMillan. There was also the art studio of his late wife, Margaret.
The grand residence on 9490sqm last traded in 1994 for $2.55 million.
Wills’ 46-year business ­career began in 1933, when he earned 37 shillings and sixpence a week at the SA Gas Company.

Belmore estate of Dean Wills sold

The longtime Belrose estate of the former Coca Cola Amatil chief executive Dean Wills, has been listed for sale with a record breaking guide.
Wills, who oversaw the drink giant's worth jump from $400 million to $8 billion bought the property with his late wife, artist Margaret Wills, in 1994.
There's an art studio in the home where Wills would paint. She was once commissioned by the Duke of Edinburgh to paint a series of the Queensland outback.
Wills is now asking for offers of $8.8 million through Sydney Country Living agent Brian McMillan.
Set on a private 9,490 sqm, the fullbrick home has six bedrooms, including a lower level master wing with two sitting areas, a fireplace, ensuite, walk in robe and dressing room.
The centrepiece is the 12 car showroom style garage. Wills would have high flyinc coporate and colourful racing identities such as Jack Brabham, Wayne Gardener and Frank Lowy pop in and take a peek at Wills' much publicised collection. He's been known to have bought 15 Ferrari's over the years, his showpiece car a 1994 McLaren F1 coupe, one of only 64 ever made.
In the landscaped grounds is a swimming pool, spa, tennis court and cabana.

Dean Wills Belrose estate with luxury showroom garage listed

Channel 7 presenter Angie Asimus and her husband Chris Abbott have upsized on the northern bea­ches ahead of the birth of their first child.

The couple, who wed on Valentine’s Day last month after 12 years together, have moved inland from Collaroy to Belrose.

They’ve paid $1.55 million for an original 1970s single level family home, traded for the first time since 1984 at $139,500.

It was marketed by LJ Hooker Frenchs Forest agents Troy McKinstry and Shane Broekman as an exciting ­opportunity to create a dream home.

They only had it listed for 16 days before it sold.

Set on a 700sqm block, every room in the three bedroom house opens to the outdoor areas which feature gardens, front and back decks and a pool.

The Belrose median house price is $1,555,000 according to real­estate.com.au

Asimus and Abbott have kept their Collaroy apartment which was bought for $870,000 four years ago. The two-bedroom apartment in a 1970s complex just off the beach has become a $700 a week rental.

Asimus (inset), who has ­returned to Sydney after being a newsreader in Brisbane, ­recently offloaded her former Brisbane home turned investment, for $629,000. She had paid $405,000 for the four-bedroom, 1980s Jindalee, in Brisbane’s west, in 2012.

Asimus started her career as a journalist in 2008 with Seven Queensland, working at its Townsville newsroom.

Channel 7 presenter Angie Asimus upsizes to Belrose

EG, an Australia-based real estate fund manager, has secured an industrial facility in Belrose for $18.09 million.
The modern high clearance complex, at 22 Narabang Way, comprises approximately 4,806 square metres GLA and is currently fully leased to six tenants.
“This acquisition offers EG’s client’s ownership in a new wholesale investment vehicle providing initial distributions in excess of 7.25%, with potential for capital growth from a high-quality industrial investment located in the heavily land constrained Northern Beaches industrial market,” said Sean Fleming, Associate Director, Capital Transactions.
The acquisition signifies the launch of the Belrose Investment Trust, which the company describe as “a bespoke opportunity for wholesale investors.”
The property was acquired on a net passing yield of 5.72%, and the transaction was brokered off-market by Vincent West from Upstate Commercial.

Kameraigal at Belrose listed at $8.75 million

The sidelined Parramatta captain Kieran Foran has pocketed $1,705,000 from the sale of his Belrose home.
After his recent upgrade to Freshwater, his redundant Belrose home went to auction on Saturday afternoon. 
The Ray White listing agents had given an initial buyers' guide of $1.55 million.
Showing no sign of his recent shoulder surgery, Foran stood at the back of the crowd when his family home was offered at its onsite auction.
Bidding opened at $1.5 million, with four of the 10 registered parties putting in bids before it was sold to a family. 
The champion NRL player had bought the now vacated Belrose home four years ago for $1.06 million when he was playing for the Manly Sea Eagles.
Kieran has lived in Belrose from the age of 13, so many of the locals welcomed the league star back to the neighbourhood.
The four-bedroom, three bathroom cul de sac home was just a couple of streets from where he grew up.
He previously indicated that Belrose had appealed to him as it was so family-orientated with parks, schools and local shops.
Kieran and his partner, Rebecca Pape, now living at Freshwater, had two children while living at the home, the most recent being born earlier this year.
It was marketed as a contemporary family home with open plan leading to the rear heated swimming pool.
His newly bought home in the Sea Eagles heartland cost him $2.51 million.
Ray White Freshwater agents Graham Bennett and Bernard Hachenberg had the offering having helped him find his new home in Freshwater.
Graham Bennett told the auctioneer Vic Lorusso that it was on the market when the bidding got to $1.685 million. Bidding then rose in $1000 increments.
It was in April when the Parramatta Eels captain was given leave of absence to focus on some off-field issues.
In April Foran checked into a rehab clinic in Brisbane following a breakdown in his relationship with his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Pope and the stress of his eight-week old son being hospitalised with a bronchial infection.
He's since been briefly back on the paddock only to damage his shoulder in a game against Newcastle.
It has ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

The property has been scheduled for June 25 auction through Ray White Freshwater agents Graham Bennett and Bernard Hachenberg without any price guidance.
They were the agents that helped him find his new home in Freshwater.
A sale between $1.5 million and $1.75 million seems on the cards.
