There&#39;s been a push for increased amenity within apartment buildings, as residents seek to have everything in one place.&nbsp;

Developers across Melbourne have taken note, and are building apartment projects with extensive communal facilities so residents can interact with neighbours and invite friends over in a larger space.

The type of amenity varies by development, whether it&#39;s a&nbsp;shared living and dining space, rooftop communal gardens, or luxury lap pools and spas.

In the first part of our Shared Spaces, we&#39;ve taken a look at four apartment developments across Melbourne which have dedicated spaces for residents to unwind.

1. Hawthorn Park, Hawthorn East

Hawthorn Park is truly a landmark suburban development with world-class amenities on offer exclusively to residents. &nbsp;

The development boasts 2,000sqm of landscaping designed by Jack Merlo, as well as outdoor facilities, including hammock lounges, lawns and landscaped walkways, alfresco dining and vegetable gardens.

2. 4 Ballarat Street, Brunswick

3. Riverbank, Abbotsford

Riverbank, one of two buildings at The Park House, resides on the banks of the Yarra River, not only connecting residents to the surrounding nature, but through world-class amenities at your fingertips.
