Adelaide has continued to lead the property bounce back with the house price fall expected in Sydney and Melbourne not reaching the South Australian capital.

Adelaide dwelling prices could rise by up to eight per cent growth, SQM Research&rsquo;s&nbsp;Boom and Bust&nbsp;report predicted last November.

Units are expected to yield better results than homes this year, as affordability issues restrict many buyers from entering the property market.

Nonetheless, interstate investor interest has continued, especially as Adelaide rose to be the third most liveable city in the world according to the latest Economist Intelligence Unit&rsquo;s survey.
