First home buyers looking to secure a new off-the-plan apartment will be glad to know they can still take advantage of the NSW Government’s stamp duty exemptions.

Last August, the NSW Government increased the threshold for stamp duty exemption for newly built homes from $650,000 to $800,000 for first home buyers.

The First Home Buyers Assistance scheme (FHBAS) erases barriers to home ownership for many who can now save thousands.
