The Bondi Beach-based Fitness First founder Tony de Leede has been busy in Queensland.

De Leede has bought three apartment in the Phoenician holiday apartment resort in Broadbeach (pictured above), as well as buying an apartment in the brand new Spyre-developed block Elysian nearby (pictured below).

He's secured two one beds and a two bed apartment for a combined $1,017,000 in Phoenician, the Queens Avenue block developed by Jim Patis in 1996.

He's also spent $795,000 on a two bedroom apartment in the recently completed Elysian.

The 130 sqm apartment with a wrap around balcony sought $900 a week after the purchase, reflecting a strong six per cent yield for the fitness entrepreneur.

De Leede is based in the luxury Campbell Parade block The Bondi, having spent $6.15 million upgrading from the nearby Pacific Bondi apartment, where he’s still looking for a buyer.

Last year De Leede, who founded Fitness First in 1993, sold his former Hedges Avenue, Mermaid Beach investment mansion for $6,325,000.

He retains an apartment in the Burleigh Heads Aspect complex which he bought over a decade ago, as well as properties in Port Douglas and a Gold Coast hinterland estate.
