Fender Katsalidis’ East Central Tower is a new gateway tower for Box Hill providing 300 apartments amidst the suburb’s development boom. The tower’s architecture is a symbolic reference of the neighbourhood’s heritage; the orchards of its past and its historic tree-lined avenues, carefully formed to mimic the earth, out of which the ‘tree’ of the tower grows, anchoring the design. Echoing the corrugated, tree-lined ridges prevalent across the local landscape, residents will be able to enjoy a rooftop garden atop the tower.

Amenities within the tower are plentiful with a library, children’s play spaces, home theatre, games room, indoor heated pool and spa with lounges stretching out towards a sundeck garden, indoor sanctuaries, open fireplaces, a fully equipped gym and yoga studio.

The modern day haven has a ground floor cafe and retail component connecting the development to the lively streetscape of the suburb, private landscaped terraces to entertain and enjoy the view and 24 levels of residential composed of four slimline towers above a six level podium.

The tower is under construction and is expected to be completed by late 2020.
