Zumbo's Just Desserts take the cake in debut ratings over The Block

Seven's new food show Zumbo's Just Desserts premiered last night as the most watched entertainment show of the night.

The show has amateur dessert cooks put through their paces by pastry chefs Adriano Zumbo.

It drew a metro audience 1.081 million, beating The Block, which dipped slightly from its debut audience of 1.074 million metro viewers to 961,000 average million viewers.

Channel 10's Survivor slipped to the 14th most-watched show of the night with 734,000 metro viewers, a drop of 50,000 viewers from Sunday's premiere.
