Wood Nook Farm, Nagambie sold
Former Moonee Valley Racing Club chairman Bob Scarborough has finally sold Wood Nook Farm in Nagambie.
Considered one of Australia's premier equine facilties, Wood Nook Farm was originally listed in June 2015 with $10 million hopes.
It was re-listed last year with a $7 million price tag.
Scarborough had bought the 122 hectare property over 20 years ago and has rebuilt every fence and laneway and created stately gardens.
Located on the picturesque Goulburn River, Wood Knook is known as a world class breeding facility and has bred group one champions Marble Halls and Gallica.
The breeding operations are well-supported by extensive equine infrastructure across 45 paddocks including a modern 692 sqm stable complex, 160 sqm vet facility, 23 loose box stables and numerous horse shelters and foaling boxes.
The main homestead is a circa 1870 four bedroom home which has undergone extensive renovation.
There's an in-ground swimming pool and spa and a circa 1880, four-bedroom manager's residence.
