West Tigers star David Nofoaluma buys masterplanned home in Sydney's west
West Tigers star David Nofoaluma has settled on a family home in Sydney's west.
The Newcastle-born utility has bought a home in the master planned stockland community Willowdale estate at Denham Court.
He's paid $860,000 for the four bedroom home with a landscaped front and rear garden on its 400 square metres parcel.
Last year he paid $525,000 for a building block in the Gregory Hills estate with his interior designer fiancee Christine Assoni, who he recently proposed to.
That's set to be a project for the happy couple, having recently submitted plans to subdivide the 535 square metres parcel and build two double storey dwellings.
Nofoaluma is no stranger to the area, having grown up playing his junior football for the Campbelltown Warriors and Campbelltown Collegians before being signed by the West Tigers in 2010.
He re-signed with the Tigers in 2012 and made his debut the following year, scoring a match-winning try in his second outing against the North Queensland Cowboys.
Nofoaluma won the Dally M Try of the Year for his effort against Manly, converting a Benji Marshall bomb with most of his body in the air over the dead ball line.
West Tigers have had a strong start to the season and sit fourth on the ladder, having stunned the much favoured Storm and the Roosters late on in the opening few rounds of the season.
