Warwick in Centennial Park, which was due to go under the hammer this weekend, has been sold.

The Martin Road property was listed through The Agency’s Ben Collier, who quoted a price guide of $8 million.

It was sold by the Ross family who paid $5.1 million in 2005.

It had previously traded at $3.8 million when sold by the Kemeny family.

The buyer was the highest bidder of a home up for auction at 21 Robertson Road, according to the local paper, The Wentworth Courier.

Warwick, the modernised Federation which resonates charm, was once owned by the University of NSW as its residence for its Vice-Chancellor.
