The Wallaby star flanker Michael Hooper has secured a classic four bedroom home in Fairlight for just over $2 million.

The one level home was advertised as an opportunity to revive a classic character home by Clarke & Humel selling agents Eddy Pinnington and James Eyden.

The home features interior timber fretwork and flooring throughout the four bedroom home.

There's a covered entertainers' terrace beside a deep rear level lawn at the 460 sqm property last traded for $630,000 in 2000.

The 24 year old openside flanker played a key part in Australia's Rugby World Cup, vice-captaining the side to the finals.
