Busy playing in Japan, Wallaby veteran Matt Giteau has listed his Cottesloe home in Perth.

Giteau, who now turns out for Tokyo based Suntory Sungoliath, paid $2,225,000 for the 2002 built home near the beach in 2007 upon joining the Western Force.

The marketing suggests Giteau hasn't spent too much time at the home in recent years.

Marcus Sproule at Mack Hall says its the 'ultimate lock and leave home'.

The home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and an open plan living, kitchen and dining area which opens to an outdoor deck.

Giteau all but confirmed his retirement last month, despite having not played for the Wallaby's since 2016.

Considered one of Australia's greatest ever rugby player, Giteau played 103 games for the Wallaby's over 14 years.
