Award winning hedge fund manager Angus Cameron has listed his 1936 built Wahroonga home with a price guide of between $7.25 million and $8.25 million.

Cameron, who has a business opportunity on America's west coast, paid $4.45 million for the 5560 sqm estate in 2012.

The 1930's Lucinda Avenue home comes with a championship sized tennis court, 15 metre swimming pool and a putting green.

A den complete with wet bar leads to the library, pool room and wine cellar.

Alex Mintorn at McGrath Wahroonga has set a March 11 auction date.

The last big money sale in the suburb came late last year when Toyota dealership owner Mark Fitzgerald and wife Wendy paid $7.5 million for the trophy home, Newahglen.

It was the second highest residential sale in the suburb, only topped by a $9.2 million sale in 2014.
