Willing Property launch latest Perth apartment development, The Coolbinia
Prominent Perth builder-developer, Willing Property, has revealed its latest apartment development.
They're heading to the tightly held suburb of Coolbinia, near Mount Lawley, where they’ve just launched The Coolbinia, a collection of just 33 two, three and four-bedroom residences.
In Willing's commitment to community engagement creating places where people love to live, the residences will be located above a row of ground floor retail and hospitality spaces, one of which will be occupied by Willing's own cafe and wine bar, following the success of similar venues Willing Coffee and Bar Vino.
The Coolbinia, strategically located at 2-8 Adair Parade, just off Walcott Street and near Mount Lawley Golf Club, several schools, and the popular Beaufort Street strip of shops and bars, presents one of the first opportunities to buy brand new in the small 0.9-square kilometre suburb in decades.
The Coolbinia is a departure from the traditional large-family homes prevalent in the area, offering spacious, home-sized apartments that reflect the scale of single dwellings but with significantly reduced maintenance.
This approach responds to the growing demand for modern living solutions, blending community-focused design with convenience
Designed by the award-winning MJA Studio, the building showcases the elegance of Milan’s grand apartments, intertwined with the classic curves and Art Deco influences of the 1920s, and the charm of the surrounding character filled green streetscapes.
Residents will also benefit from private club-style amenities, including a sauna, gymnasium and yoga studio, workshop, and an open-air lobby.
Additional conveniences such as a parcel room with secure lockers, and a dog washroom further emphasise Willing’s focus on practicality and lifestyle.

Sustainability is a key element of the design, with green-focused building actively pursuing minimised waste and energy efficiency strategies, while considered design and material selection creating spaces to elevate your well-being. Common areas will be powered by solar energy, and provisions for electric vehicle (EV) charging have been integrated.
Landscaping by Carrier and Postmus Architects complements the overall design, with generous courtyards and green spaces providing a connection to the natural surroundings.
Coolbinia is a quiet suburb on the edge of Mount Lawley, the latter of which three generations of the Willing family have called home.
Willing Founding Director Tim Willing says he has a life-long love for Mt Lawley and the surrounding area.
"I want to provide the opportunity for people to stay in an area they love, as well as give others the chance to move in and create family memories like the ones I've been fortunate enough to make," Tim says.
Willing is currently developing West Residences in Mt Lawley, just over three kilometres away from The Coolbinia. That's over 50 per cent sold and construction is underway, with forecasted completion in the first half of 2026.
