Home values in the West Australian capital have seen a greater increase than in both Sydney and Melbourne since the start of the year.

CoreLogic’s latest Home Value Index highlighted that Perth property values were up 0.6 per cent in May and a total of 3.6 per cent since the beginning of the year.

While last month’s price growth resulted in the city’s median unit price hitting $410,000 according to CoreLogic’s property value insight, buyers shouldn’t be deterred with the city continuing to have the second most affordable median unit value in the country.

And with a wave of residential projects hitting the market recently, we’ve wrapped up some of the best apartments in Perth right now.

Cirque Duet – Mount Pleasant

Developer: Stirling Capital

Cirque Duet’s 19-storey tower rises high into the skyline of Mount Pleasant’s Canning Bridge, with Stirling Capital’s latest venture landing in the heart of the long-established community.

Comprising a mix of one, two and three bedroom residences, Cirque Duet’s residences have been designed to take advantage of the panoramic views across the Canning and Swan Rivers, to Perth’s CBD and the Eastern Hills.

Stirling released the accompanying tower apartments back in 2019 , achieving a sell out on the first stage along with a string of awards for the project.

Inspired by resort-style living, Cirque’s expansive podium deck connects the two towers, above street level, providing more than 3,000 sqm of facilities and amenities for residents.

Amara City Gardens – Booragoon

Developer: Iris Residential

Integrated with high-end retail, Amara City Gardens is the only private residences situated within the Garden City Perth precinct.

Iri’s Residential are developing the project which will home 124 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the established suburb of Booragoon, with West Australian-based BGC Construction appointed to build the residences.

Designed by Cameron Chisholm Nicol, each apartment features open-plan living, mirrored robes and the choice between three contemporary colour schemes.

The project captures buyers’ increased interest in its generous resident amenity, quality architecture and great location, thanks to the neighbourhood’s convenient mix of parks, reserves and commercial offerings.

Forbes Residences – Applecross

Developer: Mustera Property Group

ASX-listed property developer, Mustera Property Group went overseas to acquire a unique design for their Applecross project, Forbes Residences.

Singapore-based architects WOHA handled the designs of Forbes, with the award-winning firm connected to Perth through lead project architect and co-founder, Richard Hassell, who graduated from the University of Western Australia back in the late 1980’s.

In collaboration with local design studio MJA, Forbes Residences delivers a boutique collection of just 34 three and four-bedroom residences.

Presented as four organically shaped towers, connected via a series of sky gardens, fresh air and light weave throughout every level, creating naturally lit and ventilated lift lobbies.

Shenton Quarter – Shenton Park

Developer: Iris Residential

Iris Residential are also behind the Shenton Park residences, Shenton Quarter.

Designed by Cameron Chisholm Nicol Architects, each apartment offers an unrivalled way of living within a vibrant, environmentally conscious community.

Shenton Quarter features landscaped gardens, lounge and dining area, fruit orchid, 20-metre heated swimming pool, barbeque deck and children’s play area.

The development boasts as many as 50 unique floorplan layouts, each furnished with Smeg appliances, reconstituted stone benchtops and the choice between three colour schemes.

Windfall – Port Coogee

Developer: Stirling Capital

Stirling Capital make the list again for its North Coogee development Windfall, which recently passed the 60 per cent.

Designed by MJA Studio, Windfall will take pride of place on the corner of Pantheon Ave and Orsino Blvd in Port Coogee.

Sitting just steps from the marina, cafe strip, and Ngarkal Beach, Windfall comprises 61 one, two and three-bedroom apartments, offering the ultimate coastal lifestyle in one of Perth’s most exciting, up-and-coming suburbs.

An extensive roof top space crowns the building, with a techno gym and body zone, veggie garden, private dining and lounge, BBQ terrace, and a mix of intimate and group seating areas set amongst landscaped gardens and arbours, as well as a car wash station with rapid drainage, a pet wash station, automated parcel lockers, a residents’ workshop, fitted with work benches and a bicycle repair station, as well as common storage facilities.

The Terraces – Claremont

Developer: Iris Residential

Iris Residential's new Claremont development, The Terraces, has been in high demand since its recent launch.

Located among the tree-lined streets, The Terraces are at the heart of one of Perth’s most affluent and sought-after suburbs.

Delivering a mix of one, two and three-bedroom apartments across a seven-storey building, over 95 per cent of the residences will boast panoramic views to the historic Claremont Oval.

Inspired by the terraced grandstands that grace the world’s most famous sporting grounds, The Terraces have been thoughtfully designed with owner-occupiers in mind, reaching new heights in sustainable living and design innovation.

Residents will also benefit from access to private onside amenity including two private landscaped podiums, a resident’s lounge and dining room, as well as a gym.
