"It was all about the location."

That was the view of Adam Sloane, founder of Sloane Property, when discussing his Brighton townhouse development, 111 Carpenter.

"I knew 111 Carpenter was a fantastic, central site for a townhouse project based on the tree-lined streets, shops, schools, and transport which are all at your door," Sloane added.

"It is the ideal spot to base your family and explore all that Bayside has to offer."

Sloane highlighted Brighton's exceptional lifestyle offerings.

"There’s the beach, the parks, the café culture, cinemas, retail… it has it all."

Brighton is known for its vibrant beachside lifestyle, featuring iconic beach boxes, panoramic views of the city skyline and Port Phillip Bay, and a range of outdoor activities.

Future residents of the boutique collection of seven three and four-bedroom townhouses will be a quick five-minute drive from a swim at Brighton Beach, or a sail and casual meal from the restaurant and bar at Royal Brighton Yacht Club.

The suburb also offers numerous green spaces, perfect for family-friendly activities and outdoor fun within walking distance.

Wilson Reserve, with a playground, lawned playing field and the Brighton Recreation Centre, is a 12-minute walk. Opposite Wilson Reserve is the Crowther Oval, across from Brighton Grammar School.

Brighton’s dining scene features modern gastropubs, elegant Italian eateries, artisanal gelati, and high-end dining options, along with a plethora of local cafes.

Residents of 111 Carpenter will be just a four-minute walk from Bay Street, home to a variety of shops, restaurants, and cafes, including popular spots like Mr & Mrs P, Vivace, Hecho en Mexico, and Rocksalt Cafe and Restaurant.

111 Carpenter is also located within the catchment area of some of Brighton’s top schools, making it an even more ideal option for family buyers.

Aside from Brighton Grammar School, 111 Carpenter is only within 800 metres from Brighton Primary School, Firbank Grammar School, St James' School, and Gardenvale Primary School.

Sloane had go-to architectural partner Chris Megowan design 111 Carpenter. All seven townhouses are north-facing, and some feature a master bedroom on the third level which overlooks neighbouring rooftops.

“It’s rare to find a development in Melbourne where every dwelling has an ideal orientation and access to at least two exposures for ventilation," Chris Megowan, a Brighton local, said.

Each townhouse has either three or four bedrooms across two or three levels with private landscaped gardens by John Patrick Landscape Architects. Each home also offers double lock up garages with internal private access.

Sloane has gone with long-time collaborator and award-winning architectural practice Megowan to design 111 Carpenter.

Award-winning builder Virgon Construction has begun works on site, with completion forecast for late 2025.
