Why buyers are choosing to purchase an off-the-plan Aster apartment in Clayton South
First home buyers are choosing to secure a home in Clayton South’s Aster Apartments, as the developer, Cedar Woods, scraps stamp duty on the already affordable homes.
The project, which already qualifies for the Federal Government’s $15,000 HomeBuilder grant until March 31, is expected to become popular with buyers who may not have been able to get their foot in the door otherwise.
“The current low interest rates and government incentives mean that for many first home buyers, it is cheaper to own than to rent”, said Cedar Woods COO Patrick Archer.
“Right now, first home buyers should be looking to take advantage of all the government grants and concessions while they can.”
Designed by DKO Architecture, the residential development is the final release in the successful master-planned community, Jackson Green.
With one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments priced from $396,800, the project offers opportunities for buyers who may otherwise be priced out of the suburb.
Boasting timeless design and intuitive, modern floorplans, each apartment in Aster includes engineered timber flooring, floor-to-ceiling joinery and open-plan living.
Private courtyards and balconies deliver social spaces for entertaining, while electric car charging facilities and water reuse systems reduce the entire neighbourhood’s carbon footprint.
Aster Apartments is close to public transport, with existing amenity such as supermarkets and schools close by, including Monash University and Monash Medical Centre.
