Landing in arguably one of Melbourne most liveable suburbs, the joint venture between CQ Property Developments and Loi Project is the latest in the line of residential projects moulding their way into the Ormond streetscape.

Positioned on the corner of its namesake street, Walsh Grange delivers a collection of 23 apartments to the burgeoning setting, designed to deliver the security of community and the comfort of a private, premium residence.

The quaint, 150-year-old suburb has evolved to offer every modern convenience, whilst still maintaining the community charm of a bayside suburb, with wide, tree-lined streets, just 20 minutes from the CBD.

Local architecture firm, Telha Clarke is behind the design of the modern low-rise building, with their focus to create a feeling of connection, through shared public spaces, and surrounding gardens and trees.

The ground floor comprises nine apartments, with a mix of one, two and three bedroom offerings.

Selected ground-floor residences also include rear entries, adding further texture to the building’s character.

A step up, level one features eight two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments, all sitting across upwards of 70 sqm of floor space, along with one, two-bedroom, one-bathroom residence, that covers 68 sqm.

Level two of Walsh Grange comprises five apartments, with two, two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartments, two, two-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments and one, three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment.

Projects by Buxton director Heath Thompson says due to the uniqueness of Walsh Grange, the project is drawing attention from everywhere, from first home buyers to downsizers.

"There's nothing nearby locally that offers such a wide mix of both configurations, price point, and quality of development," Thompson said

“With Kilvington Grammar just around the corner, along with a host of other schools and parks and family-orientated amenity, we’re expecting to have a number of buyers amalgamate apartments also, to create that bigger space that is taking over the current property market," Thompson added.

The small pocket in the Glen Eira district, where Walsh Grange is located, has grown substantially over the years and is now brimming with bustling retail precincts, extensive amenities and education options, as well as having an abundant number of public parks and gardens, along with its proximity to Brighton Beach.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments can still be purchased in Walsh Grange, with floorplans spanning from 49 sqm 97 sqm.
