Waterfront Yarra River residences listed from $1.9 million at Seafarers
Riverlee’s $500 million mixed-use Seafarers project have released their waterfront residences with prices beginning from $1.9 million.
Works commenced on the riverfront precinct in early October, endorsed by the Victorian Government, with the development set to become Melbourne’s first international hotel-branded residence.
Situated next to the Mission to Seafarers on the northern bank of the Yarra River, the project is a welcome boost to Melbourne’s local economy as it looks to rebound from COVID-19.
The riverfront precinct will be Australia’s first 1 Hotel, offered by luxury-lifestyle brand 1 Hotel & Homes.
Designed by Fender Katsalidis, it will include 123 luxury residences, 277 guest rooms, a lobby lounge bar and world class event venue.
Residents are offered the experience of five-star hotel services and amenities, year-round, as well as food and beverage offerings and a 3,500sqm park and a state-of-the-art health centre situated within the new precinct.
At Seafarers, residents will be able to take advantage of 1 Hotel’s services, including private catering, in-room dining, indoor heated pool, 24-hour concierge and valet parking.
Park-front and city residences are priced from $1.225 million.
Other amenities include a rooftop garden, library, residents’ lounge and dining rooms, all operated and maintained by 1 Hotel.
Seafarers Residences centres on the reimagining of the heritage-protected Goods Shed 5, where heritage restoration works have commenced. Key elements of Goods Shed 5, such as the roof trusses, doors and windows will be taken offsite for remediation and returned during the construction phase.
Melbourne’s last remaining original electric crane will also be restored and relocated to the East End of the development site.
The project is slated for completion in 2023.
