This dilapidated home last sold for $15,000 in early 2011 and was on the market for $20,000 this year.

It has now been secured for $19,000, reflecting a 7% annual growth.

It was Victoria's cheapest detached house, albeit uninhabitable, on offer at the time, listed through Wayne Heard at Elders Real Estate in Bendigo.

124 Vernon Street, Korong Vale is on 998 square metres of land, a short drive from gold mining town Wedderburn.

Korong Value is about two and a half hours from Melbourne CBD.

The dearest in the town now for sale is $75,000.
