With construction works well underway on Richmond’s latest luxury development, TWO51, Urban takes a look at the stylish development which is expected to reach completion in August.

Delivered by Blueprint Projects, TWO51 boasts a collection of 25 apartments over seven levels, including 18 serviced apartments and a top-floor penthouse.

Marketed to second-home buyers and downsizers, the residences are likely to house high net worth individuals seeking modern living amongst Richmond’s rich heritage.

Designed by Watson Young Architects, the project includes ground floor retail space and a grand lobby, rich with gold detailing and art deco opulence.

Every dwelling offers its own luxury features, with winter garden-style terraces included in apartments on levels one and two, and spacious terraces increasing in size across the remaining residences as the façade tiers back off Richmond’s bustling Swan Street.

“The combination of brickwork and exposed steel on the lower levels reflects the industrial culture of this inner Melbourne suburb,” Watson Young associate Tas Tzoulis said. “While the upper levels boldly utilise a collection of more lavish and refined materials to create an aesthetically pleasing juxtaposition of styles.”

The interiors feature spacious, open-plan layouts with stone benchtops, panelled joinery and an abundance of natural light, carefully designed in-house by Watson Young’s interior division.

Similarly, each bathroom boasts the finest fixtures and fittings, with wall mounted lighting, walk-showers and satin chrome tapware. The bathrooms are also fully-tiled with ample storage, concealed cisterns and duaal wall-hung vanities.

Just a stone’s throw from Melbourne’s CBD, Swan Street train station and Chapel Street retail offerings, the stylish development will provide convenience and amenity to its future residents.
