Luxury developer Tim Gurner and his wife Aimee have listed their luxury two-level apartment at Gurner's Saint Moritz project in St Kilda.

The two-level, 500 sqm apartment has four bedrooms, five bathrooms, a six-car garage, and is one of just 20 apartments in St Moritz that features floor-to-ceiling water views and private lift access.

The Gurner's retained the apartment when the project, designed by Fender Katsalidis, Koichi Takada, and interior designer David Hicks, was first launched.

The interiors have been completely customised and designed personally by Tim and Aimee, who is an interior designer, in consultation with the GURNERTM design team.

Entry is through a marble-clad lift lobby, which meets a six-metre double-height void in the kitchen, living and dining zones to maximise the water views.

Over $500,000 worth of Italian stone and marble including Calacatta Gold, Nero Marquina and Travertine frame the interiors from the custom kitchen island through to the custom-designed cabinetry and joinery.

The kitchen features an almost five-metre long island, and a concealed butler’s kitchen.

The second living and entertaining space showcases a bespoke billiards table complete with custom finishes and design detailing, while the secluded games lounge is equipped with a kitchenette featuring integrated Liebherr and Vintec refrigeration.

A curved custom-designed helical staircase leads to the second level, finished in polished plaster with a custom brass floating handrail and feature LED lighting. The staircase cost $500,000 to install.

The master suite occupies almost the entire top floor, complete with a custom $120,000 sauna in the grand ensuite, an expansive walk-in robe, separate study and stunning private living retreat with an open fireplace to soak up the bay views.

"When we launched Saint Moritz, we set out to create something that simply did not yet exist in the market, something that had no comparable sales or properties, something that was only emulated in five star resorts in places like New York, Miami or London," Tim Gurner says.

“We took inspiration from around the globe and then pushed it even further with the on-site amenity and dedication to wellness at Samsara. The result is like having your own private-day spa retreat downstairs.

“These unique and truly incomparable elements led to the insatiable demand when Saint Moritz first went to market.

“My wife Aimee and I worked closely with our Gurner design team to create a residence that represents the most luxurious elements of modern life, while taking the Saint Moritz experience to another level yet again.

“Wellness is such a pivotal pillar of my life which is why we wanted to complement the amenities of Samsara downstairs with the residence’s own private wellness features. The benefits of infra-red saunas are incredible and I incorporate the practice into my own daily routine, so we included the custom sauna to the master suite upstairs.

“After living through COVID, we as a community have turned to more intimate dining and entertaining with friends so the custom bar, games lounge and billiards table make the most of this incredible residence – why go out when the new owner can entertain guests at home while Port Phillip Bay shimmers in the foreground.

“My favourite element of the residence has to be the incredibly rare and sought after double height living and dining space that open up to the incredible bay and water views, which offer a front row seat to some of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen.

“Due to the investment into quality, rarity, luxury and the lived experience in both this residence and Saint Moritz, we are expecting interest from both local and international buyers,” Gurner said.

Within the home is an exclusive selection of furniture, handpicked by Tim and Aimee, from luxury overseas brands including B&B ITALIA, MAXALTO and Louis Poulsen, complemented by bespoke pieces locally produced by Australian artisans and manufacturers.

The furniture is worth a combined total of over $500,000 and is available for select buyers.
