The ongoing surge in home financing and purchasing took a hit in April as one of the key drivers, the HomeBuilder Grant, came to an end in March. 

Many developers however are sighting that the completion of the HomeBuilder Grant has failed to deter first home buyers (FHB).

Check out which suburbs have been drawing the attention of first home buyers in April.

1. Footscray

Footscray has once again topped the list of most popular suburbs among first home buyers as it did in Q1, with strong interest shown in Live City.
