STH BNK By Beulah, one of the most anticipated development project in Melbourne for a number of years, has secured a record-breaking launch day, netting over $400m in sales, including Melbourne’s most expensive apartment ever at $35 million.

Buyers flocked to the official launch on April 2, after Beulah received over 700 registrations throughout its expression of interest campaign, with buyers required to put down a $5,000 deposit to reserve their spot.

The $35 million sub-penthouse is now Melbourne’s most expensive apartment to date, spanning 1,000 sqm across an entire floor and featuring double-height ceilings.

The buyer, whose identity remains confidential, is choosing to customise the apartment as part of STH BNK’s Tailored Living offering with the number of bedrooms and baths yet to be confirmed.

Beulah Managing Director Jiaheng Chan said the demand experienced on the first day of launch far exceeded any expectations, with buyers eager to own a slice of Australia’s most talked-about project in Southbank.

“We are overwhelmed by the support shown by the public who understand our vision for STH BNK By Beulah. We had all types of buyer demographics come through the sales suite on the weekend, from first home buyers through to families," Chan said.

“The launch day was absolutely buzzing, we had buyers lining up, eager to be the first to choose their preferred apartment with many saying the opportunity to have the world at their feet was too good to pass up. We successfully sold out Stage 1 and had to bring forward Stage 2 to cater to buyer demand. They will have access to world-class amenities and offerings not yet explored in Australia, a mini-metropolis that truly is the next evolution of living.

“In addition, the quality and design are second to none, we have the best minds in architecture, biophilic design, wellness, retail, art and culture involved in this project; buyers were eager to capitalise on this never-to-be-repeated project.

“To achieve a result like this off the back of the pandemic is unprecedented and is a huge vote of confidence in not only the project, but the Melbourne CBD.”

The highest sales were the three-bedroom apartments, with prices starting from $1.56 million, followed by two-bedroom and one-bedroom, starting from $719,000 and $532,000. A number of purchasers bought multiple apartments within the Sky Rise collection with plans to amalgamate them to create sprawling apartments in the sky.

A sculptural form composed of two twisting towers, STH BNK By Beulah comprises four distinct collections offering one-bedroom apartments through to five-bedroom sky homes.

The first collection, Garden Rise Residences, is set above the energy of the podium and provides the closest connection to the pulse of Southbank. With a particular focus on embracing earth and nature, residences within this collection feature timber joinery, natural textures and calm movement throughout.

Above this collection sits the High Rise Residences, a collection that celebrates all there is to love about Melbourne; grander city vistas, spacious floorplans and timber joinery complemented by mirrored range hoods to reflect the glittering city lights.

The Sky Rise Collection crowns the Garden and High Rise Collections and celebrates living amongst the clouds, offering views of the city, the bay and the gardens.

Extra-large in size, the apartments feature walk-in wardrobes, a butlers pantry, and a sculptural kitchen island design inspired by the ‘stacking’ terraces along the towers’ spine, the Sky Rise Residences are the most prized homes and provide exclusive access to the Sky Rise Residents’ Club.

STH BNK By Beulah will also feature a series of Hotel Private Residences, combining exceptional interior design with the highest level of residential services.

The vertical garden that envelopes both towers acts as a natural control of daylight, shielding the apartments from direct sun during summer while maximising the natural light in winter, while residents will benefit from Beulah FreshAirTM - a bespoke centralised ventilation system that provides the freshest and cleanest air in any Australian residential skyscraper.

Residents will also benefit from a suite of resident-only amenities and offerings, including the recently announced STH BNK Auto Club, a first-of-its-kind fleet of luxury vehicles including BMWs, Teslas, Porches and Range Rovers for residents to use via a car-sharing model; a private Residents’ Club that offers resort-like amenities and services; neighbourhood ‘pocket’ parks dotted throughout the towers to provide a place for residents to connect and unwind in nature, as well as STH BNK Concierge, where luxuries like housekeeping, shopping, childminding and beauty treatments are all taken care of.

STH BNK By Beulah will also be home to Four Seasons Hotel Melbourne, as well as the country’s first innovative cultural centre for young people, overseen by the globally-revered Centre Pompidou.
