The Peak is the newest thin-scraper in the heart of the Melbourne CBD from developers Auriton, in joint venture with the Vic Investments Management Group (VIMG).

Comprising a collection of 177 one and two-bedroom apartments, the project occupies the site of the former pulsing jazz venue on Bennetts Lane.

“Find your space, secluded high above the hustle and bustle of city life”, the project marketing reads.

Designed by Plus Architecture, the tower delivers 43 levels of residential apartments and amenities, and three levels of ground-floor retail fronting La Trobe Street.

The homes feature a classic, minimalist aesthetic, with white accents contrasting against black and gold.

Each apartment is available in either light or dark scheme, allowing residents another way to customise their home.

Light timber floors maintain the timeless palette, as well as floor-to-ceiling windows and panoramic views across the city and the Carlton Gardens that reside below.

The architects and developers have focused on form and function, with smart inclusions and clever storage options.

Designed to be sleek and understated, the kitchens feature Bosch stainless steel appliances, stone bench tops and gold fixtures, providing the ideal atmosphere whether entertaining or relaxing.

Apartments in the tower boast large floorplans, as well as a sky deck for all residents to utilise.

Other communal facilities in the project include a shared lounge, kitchen and dining room and expansive outdoor balconies.

Residing on the fringe of the education precinct, The Peak is located only a short walk away from RMIT and the University of Melbourne, as well as arts, entertainment, dining and natural wonders.
