Melbourne developer Central Equity has taken out another major industry award – winning the prestigious Housing Industry Association (HIA) – Victoria Apartment Complex Award (over $ 20 million), for its recently completed apartment tower, Parkhill Melbourne Apartments.

The award was announced at the annual HIA (VIC) Industry Awards at Crown earlier this week. Central Equity is the HIA (Victoria) most awarded apartment developer.

The award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a residential apartment project. Parkhill was designed by leading architects ClarkeHopkinsClarke and was built by the award-winning construction company, Kapitol Group.

Parkhill Melbourne Apartments, a 20-level tower, located at 408 Spencer St, West Melbourne, has a striking entry foyer with a seven-day concierge. The resident facilities are located on the rooftop and include outdoor dining areas with BBQs, a gymnasium, exercise areas, and places to relax and enjoy city views.

The project is located on a prime corner site and at street level the podium has been designed to complement nearby buildings. The building incorporates three retail tenancies that will provide an active and vibrant streetscape.

Central Equity has been credited as the pioneer of inner-city living in Melbourne, developing residential properties in and around the CBD. The 2024 HIA award is a testament to Central Equity’s 37-year history of ‘delivering as promised’.
