The under-construction Ovation Footscray is nearing completion, with the final touches being added to the Buckley Street residences.

Platinum Construction have been building the inner-city apartments, which is expected to welcome its first residents by September this year.

Landing just 5.6 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, Footscray is one of those rare suburbs that, while possessing a strong village-like atmosphere, it enjoys the same connectivity to that of a city fringe locale.

Located in the heart of Footscray, Ovation reaps all the benefits of these attributes, maintaining proximity to public transport, schools, dining and recreational amenity, while still feeling like its own set place.

Inner-city locals, Keystone Property Group are the developers behind Ovation, which will comprise 131 residences upon completion.

Keystone are no strangers to the burgeoning Footscray area, with the developers boasting a string of already sold out projects, including, The Buckley and Victoria Corner.

Kavellaris Urban Design (KUD) handled the design of Ovation, with owner, Billy Kavellaris saying the vision was to honour Footscray’s unique architectural character, while still establishing a new level of design ingenuity for the area.

“Positioned in one of Melbourne’s fastest emerging domains, innovation and liveability were of equal importance when designing ovation,” Kavellaris said.

Ovation delivers a collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments, starting from $585,000.
