North-east Melbourne performing under the hammer: CoreLogic

The outer east region of Melbourne has the highest auction clearance rate, according to CoreLogic’s latest weekly report.

The property advisory firm says that out of the 62 auctions that are known to CoreLogic 83% were sold under the hammer.

This is followed by the north-east with 80% and the Mornington Peninsula 79%.

The region with the lowest auction clearance rate was the south-east, where only 66% of the 123 auctions known to CoreLogic were sold.
