Construction is in full swing for Glen Iris's latest residential offering, Fraeda, a boutique collection of four generously-proportioned townhouses nestled on Alfred Road.

Developed by boutique Melbourne developer Elmbury, Fraeda stands out not only for its elegant design and prime location but also for its philanthropic mission, with $10,000 from each sale dedicated to supporting the Cure Brain Cancer Foundation.

Positioned in the heart of Melbourne's coveted Eastern suburbs, Fraeda offers unparalleled convenience, providing residents with easy access to the CBD and local amenities. Situated just moments from the bustling Toorak Road shopping strip and surrounded by parks and recreational reserves, Fraeda ensures that every aspect of inner-city living is within reach.

Award-winning boutique building and construction company First Avenue Homes are handling the build of the project, with Petridis Architects taking charge of the design. The result, a blend of natural materials, thoughtful spatial design, and four individually designed homes that complement the Glen Iris locale.

Elegance and luxury are the hallmarks of Fraeda, with each residence featuring house-like proportions, luxurious finishes, outdoor gardens and private green spaces. The architects have prioritised northerly aspects, flooding the private courtyards and interior spaces with abundant natural light.

Home One, shaded by a sculptural Liquidambar tree, boasts a striking street-facing facade, featuring charcoal brickwork contrasting against grey feature tiles and a landscaped front garden.

Each freestanding townhouse comprises four bedrooms and three bathrooms, offering larger-than-typical outdoor areas compared to other townhomes. Home Four, in particular, boasts the largest outdoor space, with a generous oversized garden and courtyard. Creating lush, private retreats was a focus when designing the homes, with Homes Three and Four set to bask in the shade of a Silky Oak which is nestled in the courtyard of Home Three.

The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining areas are designed for functional living, offering seamless connections to the outdoors through expansive full-height doors.

The carpeted bedrooms provide comfortable and private spaces, with the top floor housing rooms one, two, and three, ensuring complete privacy. The master bedrooms are generously sized, with Home Three and Four featuring walk-in robes and Home One with built-in robes. The master ensuite bathrooms feature a striking natural Carrara marble feature wall, with Homes One and Four to benefit from a freestanding bathtub.

Each residence also provides a secure two-car basement garage, with Home Four enjoying the largest garage space. A central staircase connects the basement, ground, and first-floor levels, with the option for buyers to add a lift for enhanced convenience.
