Melbourne's charming Glen Iris is set to receive a modern twist with the launch of a new collection of contemporary townhouses.

The new development, Lori, conveniently located near Glen Iris Station at 1610 Malvern Road, has just three of its eight three-bedroom townhouses left, with demand fuelled by locals looking for what is a rare offering in the south-east suburb.

LK Property Group, the development firm of billionaire property developer and NBL owner Larry Kestelman, is well underway in the construction of Lori, which is expected to be completed later this year.

Award-winning architectural practice Megowan has designed Lori. Each townhouse has three-bedrooms across two levels. They sit on a unique sloping block which allowed Megowan to take advantage of the viewlines over the surrounding treescape from the large picture windows.

The expansive full-length windows of the townhomes frame the outdoor spaces, while residents are welcomed into the homes by high ceilings across both levels which allows for further natural light.

Every part of the house is smartly designed, with careful thought put into every square metre for usability. The space under the stairs turns into a concealed study nook that opens to the living space.

The Miele-appointed kitchens feature a highly functional and adaptable open cupboard with plenty of storage space. The location of the kitchen allows for entertaining from the kitchen's terrazzo and natural stone benchtops to flow effortlessly into the dining and living spaces.

The 100-year-old trees on the site will be preserved as will create a tranquil canopy view from the bedroom.

Each residence features a secure, flexible garage space that can accommodate and charge two cars or serve as a launchpad for business endeavours, artistic pursuits, or workouts.

Built to endure across decades and generations, Lori incorporates future-proof technology and infrastructure.

Each home is designed for rooftop solar and electric car charging, reflecting LK Property Group's commitment to sustainability.

The development is also 100 per cent electric, aligning with a more renewable path and minimising residents' environmental footprint.

Immerse Constructions is currently building Lori, which is slated for completion in Q2 2024.
