Thomas Street, comprising just 69 one, two and three bedroom apartments, is part of the break-out first release in the $2 billion Moonee Valley Park master-plan developed by Hamton.

The masterplan has been named in part after the suburb it calls home, situated in the heart of Moonee Ponds, a sought-after inner-city locale in Melbourne’s north-west.

Over 80% sold out, Thomas Street was designed by the award-winning Rothelowman, who partnered with interior design firm Mim Design for much of the residential work across the project, including Feehan Row, the terrace and house development in the master-plan’s first release.

The one-bedroom apartments have already been snapped up so we at Urban focused primarily on the remaining two and three bedders.

Entering Thomas Street residents step into a Mim-designed lobby home to vertical batten screens, complemented by marble and terazzo finishes.

The residences are divided into four based on where they are located in the building with the ground floor being home to the Garden Residences featuring expansive courtyard gardens and secure individual entries.

A majority of the apartments comprise of either the North facing Hedgeview Residences with generous terraces fringed by living green walls or the Gardenview Residences overlooking a the landscaped residents garden.

As a rule, apartments at Thomas Street offer large entertainer’s kitchens with butler’s pantries, private home office spaces and walk-in-robes also available in some apartments.

Throughout the building, form and finishes are united through contemporary detailing. A palette of ochre, merlot and pumice tones will flow and blend with the future surrounding parkland.

Rothelowman worked alongside Tract Landscape Architects to unify the building’s contemporary form and biophilic design elements to emphasize connectivity to the natural environment.

Thomas Street residents will have access to plenty of amenities and services including car charging stations and a dog wash station inside. Plus, within the nearby future sister building, there is a lobby, concierge and delivery services on offer..

Residents and visitors will have access to Stonepine Square, a Mediterranean style piazza, as well as Cox Place, a dynamic village designed to fulfill convenience and lifestyle needs, from café culture to a social hot spot, business heart and wellness hub.

Thomas Street is now under construction, with completion anticipated by the end of 2022.
