The largest townhouse community in Glen Waverley has experienced overwhelming demand, with Golden Age selling over 70 per cent of townhouses within its Floret development.

Comprised of 77 architecturally designed homes, Floret has been popular with young families, downsizers and first-home buyers due to its entry $1.26 million price point - a significantly more attainable price
than the suburb's $1.7 million median.

Designed by Rothelowman and Aspect Studios, the same team that brought Golden Age's Sky Garden to life, the townhomes boast an expansive central open space that spans 1000 sqm, including an open lawn with a walking track, and facilities such as a fitness station, barbecue and picnic area and a children’s play area.

Golden Age Development Director, Damien Hehir, said the team is very proud of how well Floret has been received by the market.

“These luxury townhomes are in demand as we are catering to what the market and neighbourhood needs," Hehir said.

"Glen Waverley is dominated by family homes, and our success from our other Glen Waverley project, Sky Garden, lends to our track record with Floret in providing the neighbourhood with architecturally-designed residences, curated for a number of buyer demographics.”

The layout for each townhome is conducive for multi-generational living with ensuite ground-level bedrooms featuring courtyard access for greater privacy, while the kitchen and living areas serve as communal family space.

Additionally, with home offices being a necessity, the three-level townhome offers residents the much needed separation between the workspace level and the higher level living area.

As the cost of living continues to rise, prospective buyers are looking for investments that meet multiple criterias, addressing a range of needs. The array of resident amenities at Floret complements its appeal, enhanced by its proximity to Monash University and The Glen Shopping Centre, creating a close-knit community.

Figurehead Construction has been making headway on site at 583 Ferntree Gully Road with all civil works and roads now completed. Construction of the homes commenced at the end of last year and are on-track to be delivered in Q1 2025.
