A collection of just 29 apartments have launched to the sought-after suburb of Glen Iris at 1538 High Street.

The boutique development, GALERIE, is the work of Melbourne locals LDS Property, who are no strangers to the area, with the group currently underway with works on their project, Novum on Edgar Street.

GALERIE has been designed by the coveted architecture firm, Ewert Leaf, taking on a human-centric and holistic approach to the design.

Delivering a collection of two and three-bedroom apartments, each of the residences at GALERIE benefit from expansive landscape courtyards and balconies in an elevated position, offering views to the wider metropolitan.

Ewert Leaf Director, Will Leaf said the project was born from an undeniable love of art.

"GALERIE is a curated collection of luxury residences where residents are privy to a world-renowned collection of private artworks, innovative architecture and lush outdoor spaces." Leaf said.

GALERIE presents an interestingly dynamic asymmetrical facade, livening the High Street streetscape.”

The building is defined by a strong sense of artistry, forming a distinctly timeless aesthetic.

Composed of brick, timber and concrete, the facade materiality cultivates depth and dimension whilst cascading greenery softens its form.

Each curated residence has been tailored for the cosmopolitan lifestyle where generous open-plan living areas are imbued with an atmosphere of artistic luxury.

LDS Property Founder and Managing Director Lal De Silva established the company after identifying a gap in Melbourne’s property market for classic, well-considered homes.

The group is now led by CEO Kyle De Silva, who stepped up to run the company after his father.
