Influenced by the world’s grand hotels, the Landence Group’s latest Southbank development, the Evermore, features a range of shared spaces that present a sense of escape from the everyday.

Designed by Hayball Architects, residents seeking residences with luxury amenities near the Melbourne CBD need not look further than the Evermore.

Urban takes a look at eight amenities on offer at the two-tower Southbank development.

1. Central Gardens

With landscape architects Tract engaged on the Landence project, the Evermore features lush, tropical plantings and an abundance of green at every entrance.

Behind clear-glazed walls in the west tower’s primary lobby sits an indoor oasis of verdant greenery and tropical flora.

Similarly, residents entering the wellness centre will be met by a carefully considered Zen garden that utilises artful foliage that harmonises with the interior design.

2. Podium

Anchoring the two towers together is a simple podium where residents can shop at high-end retail outlets.

The tower also provides outlooks of lush, landscaped plantings and views across Melbourne, from Port Philip Bay to the distant Yarra Ranges in the North.

3. Private Dining Spaces

The Evermore boasts two private dining spaces that have been created for residents to entertain on a grand scale.

“Elegantly crafted furnishings, plush surrounds and the very best in tableware means you and your guests won’t have to venture far for an unsurpassed dining experience”, the project marketing reads.

Located in both buildings, dining rooms overlook central courtyards and sit adjacent to inviting communal lounges.

4. Communal Lounge

The Evermore’s outdoor and indoor communal lounges provide opportunities for residents’ relaxation and enjoyment.

Supplementing the elegance of the warm, interior architecture, the communal lounge incorporates high-quality materials like marble, dark timber, and brass trims.

The lounge boasts plush furnishings amidst rich, timbered walls, ideal for some quiet ‘me-time’ or for those wishing to relax with guests or even other residents.

5. Heated Pool

Featuring resort-style amenities, the 24-level high-rise also includes a 15-metre open-air pool.

A generous, marble fringed deck is located nearby, offering contemporary sun lounges or a casual dining experience in the adjacent poolside lounge.

6. Gym

Bathed in natural light from an extended skylight, the Evermore’s well-equipped gym provides an excellent space to focus on fitness and wellbeing.

The amenity includes mirror-lined walls that further enhance the feeling of space while the surrounding landscaping generates a sense of the outdoors.

7. Library

Residents seeking a place to study, read and reflect can find solace in the library and study space – “a private retreat within a retreat”, the project marketing reads.

It features a range of seating options, including individual seating, communal tables or even a banquet style setting for larger groups.

Layout, décor and furnishings have been carefully selected to create a business lounge feel.

8. Cinema

Indulgent lounge seating and luxurious finishes are available in the private Evermore cinema rooms.

Enjoy luxe privacy and a night-in away from home with the rooms’ large projector and generous seating with enough space to bring along family and friends.
