Development Victoria creates places for people. As the development arm of the Victoria Government, they deliver places that make a genuine difference to Victorians. Development Victoria builds great homes and communities where people can thrive while catering to different budgets, lifestyles and needs so that more people can live where they want to be at prices they can afford.

Development Victoria is progressing with its development in Sunshine North at a strong pace. With Stage 1 homes already sold out at LUMA, homes, Stage 2 homes launched earlier this year, continuing the momentum of interest in the development. Stage Two has a collection of around 85 one, two, three and four-bedroom homes, an intentional variety of configurations to cater for every kind of buyer.

The homes at LUMA are designed with a focus on sustainability and are all electric, featuring solar PV with battery storage, double-glazed windows, and a minimum 7-star NATHERS energy rating. The development is well-connected, with proximity to train stations, the Western Ring Road, Sunshine Hospital, and various local amenities.

Future plans for the site include a pedestrian and vehicle bridge over Stony Creek via Metherall Street, providing a link between LUMA and the existing community, and new commercial and retail precincts featuring a mix of retail outlets such as supermarkets and specialty stores to support the everyday needs of local residents.

Development Victoria has appointed SAW Construction to deliver Stage 2 homes who have over 15 years' experience in townhouses construction across Victoria. SAW Constructions are also building the homes in Stage 1 which will be ready to occupy early next year.

The LUMA community will also boast a strategically positioned, 3,600 sqm park, located central to all homes. The park will feature a children’s playground, barbecue facilities, and shaded picnic areas.

Development Victoria is offering prospective purchasers an opportunity to buy with just a five per cent deposit, with no progress payments until construction is complete. For a limited time, they also have an added offer of a $5,000 free upgrade package that can be used to select from a range of upgrades at no additional cost.

To make homeownership possible for more Victorians, Development Victoria aims to offer at least a quarter of the homes they build to households eligible for affordable housing through their Priority Access program. This program offers eligible households exclusive access to purchase high-quality homes at affordable prices before they are made available to the open market.

LUMA’s Urban and Tempo range of homes offer innovative floorplans, some featuring two-living areas perfect for teenagers or as a work from home space, have captured the attention of a range of buyers seeking a low-maintenance family-sized home.

LUMA’s latest release of townhouses is now selling.
