Burton Place: In the centre of everything Ashburton has to offer

Leeka Group looked for a site which will provide the ultimate convenience for its future residents.

Cue Burton Place, a collection of just eight townhouses ideally located in the heart of Ashburton in Melbourne's south-east, a stone's throw from shops, parks and public transport.

The suburb boasts expansive parklands, reserves, and public gardens, ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and young families. Ashburton Park, just a short stroll away from Burtons Place, offers a playground, BBQ facilities, and a well-maintained green oval.

An 18-minute walk from Burton Place will take residents to the 10-hectare Markham Reserve which features an adventure playground, sports grounds, a community garden, and a scenic cyclist path alongside Gardiners Creek.

Aside from BMX, scooter and skateboard riders, Markham Reserve is popular for picnickers and pet owners for its outdoor seating, shelter, barbecues, and off-leash dog area.

On the southern part of the reserve is the Malvern Valley Public Golf Club, one of a handful of golf courses within five kilometres of Burton Place.

Burton Place is close to the intersection between High Street and Warrigal Road, an intersection occupied by a number of food options and a full-line Woolworths.

The High Street precinct, just a kilometre away from Burton Place, has over 150 specialty stores, including fresh food providers, fashion boutiques, grooming services, and boutique cafés.

The townhouses are also just three kilometres from the famous Chadstone Shopping Centre and Chadstone Hoyts Cinemas.

The Ashburton Pool and Recreation Centre, offering four swimming pools, a gym, and yoga classes, is just a 10-minute walk. That borders Warners Reserve where there's a sports club and an off-leash dog park.

Commuters will have a number of options to head into the city. It's a 25-minute drive via Citylink to the centre of Melbourne, while the local Ashburton and Alamein Stations take around 40 minutes to get into the city. The Alamein Station Bus 903 and Bus 734 are other alternative transportation options.

Burton Place is also conveniently located to many of the eastern suburbs’ most prestigious schools and tertiary institutions.

Families with young ones from six weeks to six years will have the option to enrol at Nino Early Learning Centre on nearby Warrigal Road, Ashburton Primary School a two-minute drive away, or the independent co-ed day school Huntingtown School in nearby Mount Waverley for children pre-prep to Year 12.

Close-by private schools include St Michael's School, Salesian College, and the Wesley College Glen Waverley campus, 10 minutes away.

Deakin University and Monash University are within three kilometres from Burton Place.

Designed by RS Architecture, Burton Place comprises eight four-bedroom townhouses across two symmetrical three-story residential blocks. The development is slated for completion in early 2025.
