A fusion of heritage and contemporary charm: Marlu Hampton townhouses launch
Hampton's Service Street is lined with heritage buildings, each holding stories of significance and displaying artful craftsmanship.
Effortlessly blending into the street is Marlu, a rare new off the plan townhouse development in the sought-after Bayside suburb.
Drawing inspiration from the neighbouring heritage, Marlu, just seven three-bedroom townhouses, will pay homage to its surroundings while infusing a contemporary appeal.
Crafted masonry work will adorn Marlu's exterior, boasting an arrangement of bricks that create a nonuniform pattern, while in a bid to capture the coastal essence of the suburb, light-toned timber will be incorporated throughout to create a contrast against the deep terracotta hues.
The facade is further enhanced by electro bronze steel windows that are recessed into the structure, with the expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors seamlessly connecting the residences with private courtyards, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood the interior spaces.
Internally Marlu will boast an open-plan light filled environment, taking inspiration from the exterior design, with rich terracotta tones that pay homage to the slated terracotta roofs of the heritage homes that line the street.
Contemporary colours complement the brown tones, with features such as a soft grey fluted marble feature wall and white gloss ceramic wall tiles creating unique residences within Marlu.
The residences will benefit from fully integrated Miele appliances, finished with brushed nickel, to further tie the internal design elements in with the exterior.
