Sculpt in Hawthorn has been recognised with the Best Apartment Architectural Design Award (Victoria) at the Property Guru Asia Property Awards 2024.

After years of planning and design revisions, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/henroth-investments-pty-ltd">Henroth Investments</a>’ ambitious vision for Brisbane’s West End has officially been approved.

Led by the Sydney-based Roth family, the project will bring two striking apartment towers to <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/281-montague-road-west-end">281-297 Montague Road</a>.

Initially approved for five towers, the project was scaled down to two towers, now accommodating nearly 350 apartments across two 19 and 17-level towers.

The approved design, led by architecture firm The <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/architects/nra-co-lab">NRA Collaborative</a>, includes a mix of apartment types to cater to diverse residential needs.&nbsp;

The north tower will house 76 two-bed, 95 three-bed, and 12 four-bedroom apartments and penthouses. The south tower will home 30 one-bedders, 73 two-beds, 43 three-bedroom apartments, and 20 four-bedroom apartments and penthouses.

A major element of the design is the incorporation of over 3,382 sqm of green public space and a retail area spanning 1,606 sqm, establishing the project as both a residential and community hub.&nbsp;

Along the Davies Park side of the site, a public amphitheatre with surrounding retail and a sculpture park will create a vibrant community space.&nbsp;The development integrates a distinctive curved, landscaped exoskeletal sunshade, reflecting contemporary architectural trends in bioclimatic design.

A key feature of the development is its focus on enhanced pedestrian and cycling connectivity. The design provides a direct connection from Vulture Street, one of Brisbane’s main thoroughfares, to the Brisbane River walkway.&nbsp;

This cross-site link, along with the active retail frontage and public plaza, aims to blend the development into the West End community, offering new pedestrian access and open spaces connecting Montague Road to Davies Park, Souths Leagues Club, and the riverfront.

The design response was crafted to benefit both residents and the local community by delivering a subtropical landscaped plaza and active communal spaces.

Due to unique circumstances surrounding the release of The Grand Residences Eastlakes apartments, there is now a rare opportunity for home buyers and investors to secure a foothold in Sydney’s coveted Eastern Suburbs property market.

Located above the Eastlakes Shopping Centre on Evans Avenue, these apartments were developed by the renowned Crown Group, which initially retained around one-third of the units following their off the plan and post-completion sales campaigns.
