One of Melbourne's most renowned buildings is up for sale. Investors are being offered a rare opportunity to buy the Prahran Post Office in Prahran, which has been listed for sale with price expectations of about $10 million.

Located in one of Melbourne’s most sought after boutique shopping strips, the 168 Greville Street property, is a combined retail and office building over three levels. The total building area is 1,890 square metres.

The property is expected to attract strong interest from private investors and self-managed super funds.

CBRE's Josh Rutman, Tom Tuxworth and Mark Wizel have been appointed exclusive marketing agents.

Mr Rutman described the property as a "trophy passive holding"', highlighting that the building is fully leased. Among the tenants in the building is renowned Italian restaurant Zucca Rossa.

Expressions of interest close on 25 October.
