An unnamed capitalist in the Goldman Sachs elevator was allegedly heard chatting about the importance of hedging at their estate in the Hamptons, home of the most expensive real estate in America.

They were presumably running late to head for the Hamptons where the start of summer season kicked off last weekend on Memorial Day.

The Hamptons are home to some of the most decadent of Memorial Day weekend celebrations. One catering company was offering a $25,000 bottle of Dom Pérignon chilled during a 10,000-foot free-fall and served by a skydiver. It's not known if anyone was silly enough to incorporate it within their celebrations.

Property Observer gleans Hampton home-owners there are reportedly worried by the influx of young party-makers driven north by the devastation of Jersey Shore caused by hurricane Sandy.

It was recently revealed that billionaire mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg bought a house and a vacant block next to his 14-hectare estate Southampton.

And Jennifer Lopez reportedly just spent $10 million on an eight-bedroom custom mansion in Water Mill.

The Twitter account is a satirical exposé of the lifestyle and hubris of America's best-payed bankers.
