Former NRL champion Todd Carney has quickly found a buyer for his Wentworth Point investment apartment.

He's accepted a $500,000 offer, up from its $480,000 guide.

It was Carney's first property purchase when he paid $395,000 back in 2007 when he was at the Canberra Raiders.

The 86 sqm, one bedroom rental apartment on the sixth floor of the Lipari building was sold by Frank Colacicco at Cobden & Hayson.

The Goulburn-born play-maker is now in the English Super League with Hull Kingston Rover after being released from his Northern Pride contract in Queensland.

He sustained a calf-injury on his home debut in a defeat to Salford earlier this month.

Carney's property portfolio includes apartments in Coogee, Waverley and Sans Souci.
