The Belgiorno-Nettis clan sold their waterfront Kirribilli penthouse for $3,665,000 at weekend auction, but have yet to sell their Clontarf holding.

The three-bedroom apartment with views over Careening Cove sold to a local couple through Sotheby’s International who had a $3.4 million guide.

The families' redundant Clontarf beachfront compound, Portovenere, which has been in the family since 1958, just before patriarch Franco Belgiorno-Nettis co-founded Transfield Services, has been listed too.

Portovenere’s Modernist architecture includes a striking pool overlooking Middle Harbour.

Sotheby’s International has a guide of $14 million for the 3668 square metre holding at 1-3 Amiens Road which is for sale by expressions of interest.
