Brunswick East is experiencing rapid growth and a surge of investment opportunities, with numerous new residential, commercial and retail developments launching this year.

The Albert of Brunswick East is at the forefront of this fast-paced growth. Following on from the success of its first release, with 90% of units sold last year, The Albert will release stage 2 of this new development in early February.

Set in a culturally vibrant locale and overlooking expansive parkland, The Albert offers the best in Melbourne inner-city living, coupled with sustainable contemporary design.

Designed by Carbott Holt Architects, the one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments will provide spacious living areas and balconies and include features such as bamboo timber flooring and moveable island benches in the kitchens.

The majority of external apartments will offer park views to the north. The development will also include secure parking and internal courtyard areas.

The Albert is the latest project from the up-and-coming Grange Development Group.

“We don’t build run-of-the-mill apartments. Our projects have a point of difference, which is apartments with large living spaces, 2.7-metre ceiling heights, plus quality fixtures and fittings,” says Grange Development Group director Daniel Caspar.

“Together we have achieved apartments that are 10% larger than the average and also 10% cheaper than our competitors’. It’s a great balance,” says Caspar.

The demand for sustainable, energy-efficient developments means there are 110 solar panels on the roof, expected to meet 50% of the estimated energy requirements.

The Albert Apartments are being offered for sale off the plan through Knight Frank and Avion Properties.

Construction will commence in June 2013 with an expected completion date mid- to late 2014.

With prices from $369,000 for a one-bedroom unit and two-bedroom units from $475,000, The Albert is perfectly priced for both investors and owner-occupiers.

Visit the display suite at 50 Albert Street, Brunswick East, on Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm till 4pm, or arrange a private viewing by calling Bradley Dean 0413 508 866 or David Toms 0409 252 000.
