Axed Australian Test cricketer Mitchell Marsh has had to take a loss on his Perth home.

He found a quick buyer for the Bicton home (above) that cost him $2.5 million in 2016, but sold recently for $2.38 million.

The 2013 built home on 1010 sqm has four bedrooms, a theatre room with 3D built in screen, a wine cellar and a custom built library.

A heated swimming pool and spa sit in the garden.

Marsh, who was dropped for the first Test against India, also owns at Fremantle.

Brother Shaun was also based in Bicton until recently. He did slightly better, but only made a $5,000 profit on his home that cost him and wife Rebecca $1,725,000 in 2014.

They've upgraded to a $2.1 million home in Applecross.
