Temple & Webster boss Mark Coulter buys neighbouring Rex, Potts Point apartment
Mark Coulter, co-founder of online furniture retailer Temple & Webster, and his psychiatrist partner Adam Bayes have expanded their home during the pandemic.
They’ve just bought out their neighbour in the Rex Potts Point apartment complex (pictured above).
Their two-level Macleay St penthouse cost $4 million last September and they’ve added the adjoining $1.4 million two-bedroom apartment.
It had been a $980-a-week rental for its vendor, Richard Swaab.
This month the T & W boss sold shares worth $24 million while retaining a $70 million stake in the four-year-old company which has seen its shares rise over 500 per cent since its March lows.
Coulter is a former McKinsey & Company operative whose first job after university was at Gilbert + Tobin in 2002.
