With social distancing measurers still in place, Australians are utilising tech and app-based services to continue to renovate, buy and sell property, according to new data.

Hipages, a platform to connect tradies and consumers, has noted that homeowners are benefitting from access to their on-demand tradies, recording job stability across the platform.

There have been noticeable spikes in requests among a number of categories including rubbish removal and skip and bin hire, with the national average increasing 82 per cent on the previous month.

Whilst, less Australians are hiring lawn mowing services during this period, kitchen renovation requests have spiked 79 per cent on the app.

Contactless options in property trading has not hindered demand for buying and selling either.

Realestate.com.au holds 46,000 active listings on site and has achieved a total 5.6 million views since the feature launched on March 20.
